Resilient parents and caregivers have empathy for themselves and others and can keep a positive attitude\, solve problems creatively and take life’s events in stride. This training will help participants define and recognize signs of parental resilience\, identify actions that can help build the resilience of parents they work with\, share examples of ways to value and support parents\, and to respond to families in crises. This training is one in a seven-part series from the course entitled Bringing the Protective Factors Framework to Life in Your Work. The training will be led by Brenda Vasquez\, a Parent Educator with the Children’s Center of Northwest NC.
