They will learn DCDEE rules and regulations regarding hazardous materials\, the definition of bio-contaminants\, potentially hazardous materials in child care\, how to correctly store hazardous materials\, and who to contact in case of an emergency. \nThis training meets the criteria of a Health and Safety Training Topic. Child Care Rules require health and safety trainings to be completed once every 5 years. Smart Start of Yadkin County offered the initial Health and Safety Trainings back in 2017. We are starting a new rotation so that all 11 trainings will be offered again within the 5-year time frame.
