DESCRIPTION:Format: In-PersonPresenter: Laekan HolzworthCHCs: 2 \nParticipants will learn specific skills for promoting language development with young children suspected to be on the autism spectrum\, including child-directed narrated play\, appreciating the importance of gesturing\, imitation\, modeling\, face-to-face interactions\, adjusting verbal and nonverbal language according to the children’s communication stage\, use of positive affect and exaggerated facial responses\, and understanding how to set up practices to prompt social communication. \n• A Training Registration Form is required for all participants Individual Form / Group Form• All trainings have a $5 non-refundable fee\, except for CPR/First Aid. CPR/First Aid is $40. There is not an additional $5 fee.• There is no fee for virtual trainings but we must have an email address for you to participate• Your training registration form and fee must be received by the partnership 3 days prior to the training. \nTo register call: 336-677-1124 or 336-677-1127
