Little Movers! The Benefits of Fine and Gross Motor Activities

Smart Start of Yadkin County Office 129 W Main St., Yadkinville

Young children are not meant to sit still. Children move and explore the world around them. In this training, we will learn why children are wired for movement. We will talk about how children learn better if movement is involved. This training will explain how to harness this desire for movement and use it to teach the children we serve. By the end of the training, you will create your own gross or fine motor activity for an infant, toddler, or preschooler classroom.
